The San Diego Chargers placed offensive lineman Scott Mruczkowski on injured reserve, ending his season. He suffered a concussion against the Chicago Bears after starting the game at left offensive guard. He played in all 10 games this year, primarily appearing on special teams.

The Chargers filled his roster spot with wide receiver Bryan Walters, promoting him from the practice squad. A return specialist, Walters has played in four games this year.
