Syracuse is hosting a few prospects this weekend for official visits. As signing day nears, one of those prospects has said he committed to the Orange.

Florida athlete Brisly Estime has said he has committed to Syracuse during his official visit.

"Syracuse offered and I committed," Estime tweeted.

A talented athlete, Estime could contribute on either side of the ball. However, according to the speedy Floridian, the Orange staff envision him playing on offense.

"I committed to the head coach (Scott Shafer) and they want me for the slot (wide receiver)," Estime told

A commitment from Estime would give Syracuse an added dimension of speed that can be utilized on offense and in the return game.

The Orange were also hosting Reggie Spearman and Kendall Moore during the important official visit weekend. Syracuse will hope to get positive news from them as well as national signing day approaches.'s John Garcia Jr. contributed to this report
